Key Responsibilities
Each of these technical roles carries distinct yet interconnected responsibilities that contribute to the successful execution of industrial projects. Fabricators are expected to read and interpret engineering drawings, cut, shape, and assemble metal structures, and ensure welding precision that meets Aramco standards. Piping Foremen must oversee pipe installation and ensure proper alignment, pressure testing, and material handling. Welding Foremen supervise welders, inspect joints, and maintain quality assurance throughout the welding process. The WPR (Work Permit Receiver) manages safety procedures and ensures all work activities are conducted under approved permits, maintaining strict compliance with site safety policies. Lastly, Rigger 3 professionals are responsible for safely lifting and moving heavy materials using cranes and rigging systems, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols during lifting operations.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must demonstrate a strong technical foundation in their respective trades. Fabricators and Welders should have excellent knowledge of metal fabrication, cutting tools, and welding techniques (SMAW, TIG, MIG). Foremen must possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to supervise teams efficiently and ensure timely project delivery. WPRs are required to hold a Valid Aramco Work Permit Receiver certificate, showing familiarity with permit-to-work systems and safety management. Rigger 3 candidates must have a Valid Aramco Rigger certificate and in-depth understanding of load charts, lifting equipment, and hand signal communication. All applicants must hold a valid Iqama, insurance from Absher, and updated information from the Muqeem portal, demonstrating full compliance with Saudi employment and residency laws.
