A leading opportunity has arisen for Safety Officers (Aramco Approved) to join the Amiral Project in Jubail 2, one of Saudi Arabia’s major industrial ventures. The role of a Safety Officer is vital in ensuring workplace safety, compliance, and operational integrity within large-scale industrial environments. Safety Officers serve as the first line of defense against workplace hazards, working diligently to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. This position is not only a job but a critical responsibility in maintaining the highest safety standards on a world-class project site, directly contributing to the well-being of workers and the overall success of the project.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duty of a Safety Officer is to monitor and enforce safety regulations and company policies throughout the worksite. They are responsible for conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and daily inspections to identify and eliminate potential hazards. In the Amiral Project, Safety Officers will ensure all work activities adhere to Aramco safety standards, supervise permit-to-work systems, and coordinate safety meetings with supervisors and workers. They will also deliver toolbox talks, prepare incident reports, and support the development of emergency response plans. A key part of the role includes providing training and guidance to ensure every worker understands and follows site safety protocols. Maintaining documentation and reporting safety performance are also integral duties in this position.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must have strong knowledge of industrial safety practices, Saudi labor laws, and Aramco-specific HSE requirements. A valid Iqama with at least 90 days validity, Chamber registration, and all normal documents in color copies are mandatory. Applicants should also bring their CV and original passport for verification. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities are essential for success in this role. Experience in managing safety in high-risk environments—especially within the oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors—is highly preferred. Knowledge of risk management systems, emergency preparedness, and root cause analysis will be considered a strong advantage.
