Description
The position of Work Permit Receiver (WPR) at DHI ALTAISIR Establishment represents a critical role within the oil and gas and construction sectors. This position is currently open for 20 qualified candidates for long-term employment in the Tanajib/Zulf Offshore project. The WPR acts as the main liaison between the worksite and the controlling authority, ensuring that all operational and maintenance tasks are performed under safe, regulated, and approved conditions. The position demands professionalism, a strong understanding of safety regulations, and technical expertise, especially for projects associated with Saudi Aramco Zulf Field operations.
This is a very urgent requirement, reflecting the company’s ongoing expansion and the crucial need for skilled professionals with Aramco approval, ELOB certification, and a valid Offshore Certificate. DHI ALTAISIR Establishment continues to uphold its reputation for excellence by ensuring that only competent and approved personnel manage high-risk work areas where safety and precision are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
A Work Permit Receiver plays a vital role in maintaining safety and regulatory compliance at the worksite. The WPR is responsible for obtaining, verifying, and maintaining all necessary work permits before any task begins, ensuring that every operation aligns with the site’s safety protocols and Aramco’s procedural standards. They must coordinate closely with site supervisors, engineers, and safety officers to guarantee that each permit is valid, clearly understood by all personnel, and accurately implemented on-site.
In addition to handling documentation, the WPR monitors field activities to confirm that work is conducted within the scope of the permit and under safe conditions. They are also required to identify potential hazards, report unsafe practices, and ensure that risk assessments are updated regularly. Communication is a key part of the role, as the WPR must maintain consistent contact between the worksite and the controlling authority. Ultimately, the effectiveness of a WPR determines the safety, legality, and efficiency of the entire project.
Skills and Knowledge
To qualify for this role, candidates must hold Aramco approval specifically for the Zulf Field and possess a valid ELOB (Electronic Lockout/Tagout) certification. Offshore experience is mandatory, along with a valid Offshore Certificate and Zulf divisional code. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of safety procedures, permit systems, and Aramco’s work permit standards. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the WPR must coordinate across multiple departments and ensure all operations are compliant.
